Each element is conceived not as an afterthought, but as a seamless extension of your overarching garden vision, carefully integrated into layout, circulation, and sightlines.

From the start, every additional component is treated as part of the master design. We visualise how the new structure or feature will relate to existing hardscape, planting, architecture, and views. We coordinate with trusted specialist fabricators and engineers when necessary, oversee foundation and services work, and bring each piece in with the same level of craftsmanship, finish detail, and material accountability that defines all our projects. You’ll see consistent planning, schedules and quality control across every element—no “add-ons” that stick out.

Many features require detailed technical planning—water supply and drainage for kitchens or water features, electrical and lighting, structural support for pergolas or timber framing, irrigation, and loadings for decks or roofed sections. We design all infrastructural elements from first principles, assess existing site constraints (e.g. underground services), and execute the groundwork, wiring and plumbing with professionals and certification where needed. This ensures your addition is functional, safe, compliant with regulations, and future-proof.

Combining multiple premium elements clearly increases complexity, but we mitigate that with rigorous phasing and coordination. After design approval, we’ll issue a detailed schedule with critical paths for foundations, services, structure, landscaping finishes and commissioning. Where possible, we overlap tasks (for example lighting installation alongside paving) to reduce downtime. For clients combining a pergola, water feature and outdoor kitchen, for instance, the full turn-around might range from several weeks to a few months depending on scale, site access and weather—but you will always have a transparent timeline and milestone updates.

They can absolutely be stand-alone, additive phases to an existing garden. Many clients commission a new pergola, a lighting upgrade, or an outdoor kitchen after their garden is already built. Whether part of a comprehensive scheme or added later, we approach each project with the same meticulous planning—ensuring connections, drainage, finishes and style are consistent with what’s already in place. We’ll audit existing landscaping and propose how to tie in the new elements as though they’d always been there.

We believe in long-term satisfaction. After handover, we conduct an inspection with you to confirm all systems function (lighting, plumbing, irrigation). We supply operation and maintenance guides (for pumps, filters, lighting control, timber care or mechanical parts). We also offer follow-up servicing visits—especially in the first year—to ensure everything settles, to adjust system timings or fine-tune aesthetics, and to respond proactively to wear or weathering. And of course, if you wish in future to adapt or expand a feature (e.g. extend a pergola, upgrade lighting), we are here to assist.
